EPLWA Weekend: Big Wins for Bellingham, Port Orchard, Yakima
Bellingham United FC 5, FC Olympia 1 — June 21, 2026, Whatcom Community College
Bellingham United FC continued its strong form with a 5-1 victory over FC Olympia.
Muhammed Darboe opened the scoring for Bellingham United on an assist from Christian Caro before FC Olympia answered with a goal from Jean Dadie to level the match. Darboe restored the lead shortly after, finishing a pass from Edgar Serrano.
Serrano then added a goal of his own, assisted by Darboe, as Bellingham began to pull away. Judah Straight extended the advantage, and Josh Wong capped the scoring to secure the 5-1 win for Bellingham United FC.
"We were missing some personnel, particularly on the defensive side, but we also welcomed some important players back into the attacking group," said Bellingham United FC Head Coach Rich Henderson. "After our last home performance, we were disappointed. We had plenty of possession, but we struggled to progress the ball effectively and create the kind of threat we know we're capable of."
The return of key attacking players paid dividends as Bellingham's offense found its rhythm, scoring five goals while maintaining its position near the top of the EPLWA Premier Division standings.
