FC Olympia Takes Commanding 4-1 Win in Captain’s Cup First Leg Over Port Orchard FC

Memorial Day soccer arrived at the Regional Athletic Complex as FC Olympia hosted Port Orchard FC in a featured Evergreen Premier League Washington matchup and the opening leg of the newly introduced EPLWA Captain’s Cup.

The 2026 Captain’s Cup will be decided over a two-leg aggregate series between the two clubs. The first leg took place Monday, May 25 at the RAC in Olympia, with the second leg scheduled for Sunday, June 7 at 5 PM at South Kitsap High School Field in Port Orchard.

On the field, FC Olympia delivered a strong 4-1 victory. Jean Dadie opened the scoring for Olympia before Aaron Lopez provided the lone goal for Port Orchard FC, briefly leveling the match. From there, Olympia took control as Kai Pahl, Tristin Evans, and Marvin Soeum each found the net to secure a commanding first-leg advantage in the cup series.
